About Us

Bible 9 will focus on identifying the loving God and plan of salvation by faith through Jesus Christ that forms the center of Seventh-day Adventist beliefs.  Students will be able to understand the nature and elements of Scripture, be able to understand God through the book of Genesis, and be able to understand Jesus Christ through the Gospels.

The first semester will begin with a study of the historical development of the Bible and its reliability.  Lessons then cover God’s creation, the gifts of the Sabbath and salvation, the experiences and relationships within selected families in the Old Testament, and the application of biblical principles to one’s family today.

Second semester covers the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as recorded in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.  In addition, students will be able to apply Seventh-day Adventist beliefs in discipleship of Christ through relationships, lifestyle, and service.

“Secondary Religion Standards for Seventh-day Adventist Schools seeks to ensure that the Bible courses lead students into a relationship with the loving God through Jesus Christ and to discover His plan for their lives.  Instruction in Bible courses will incorporate the beliefs, values and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church through a variety of ‘head, heart, and hand experiences.’ These standards should help students learn to see and reflect God’s image through understanding, applying and responding to the Holy Scriptures.”
