  1. 1) it's an ordinance of humility because usually the servants would wash the feet because the feet are really dirty (because they had dirt roads, and wore sandals)

    2) the bread at communion represents Jesus's broken body..>> his sacrifice

    3) the wine at communion represents the blood Jesus shed for us>>forgiveness of our sins

    4) John 14:16-17 (helps and lives with us)

    Romans 8:26 (Intercedes for us)

    John 16:13-15 ------

    Galatians 5:18 (he leads us)

1 Corinthians 12:7 (gives us spiritual gifts)

John 16:8-11 (judges us/ our sins)

    5) Jesus faced many struggles at the garden, like being overwhelmed by the weight of sin/world, and his friends were not there with him in prayer. We can deal with our struggles, by coming to God in prayer.

    7) Mary and the two men on the road to Emmaus couldn't recognized Jesus, because at the cross....Jesus's face was so disfigured with all the scourging and flogging etc. He looked so different from before, and they probably forgot how he looked without all the blood and ripped flesh that covered his body and face.
